Castle Hills Village Shops events are family-friendly and include monthly outdoor movie screenings (typically G-rated films), family game nights, live music, variety entertainment, and educational presentations like the ever-popular Critterman.

Castle Hills is bringing a new concert series to the Village Shops, starting with The Quebe Sisters on Saturday, May 2. The Castle Hills Spring Concert Series is sponsored by Bright Realty. The Quebe Sisters bring their unique blend of swing, vintage country, bluegrass, jazz standards and Texas-style fiddling. The group, described as “singin’, swingin’, triple-fiddle-playin’ songbirds,” blows audiences away with their style. Awarded the Crescendo Award by the Western Music Association and winner of the Western Swing Album of the Year from the Academy of Western Artists, The Quebe Sisters are touring behind their latest album, Every Which-A-Way.The Quebe Sisters have played Lincoln Center, the Kennedy Center, the National Folk Festival and the Grand Ole Opry.

Activities, such as carnival games, face painting and food trucks with concessions available for purchase, begin at 5 p.m. and go until 8 p.m. The musical acts perform from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Bring a blanket, chairs and the whole family. Everyone is welcome!​

On Saturday, June 6, Johnny Lee & The Urban Cowboy Band  take the stage in Castle Hills with the hit song “Looking for Love,” the musical centerpiece of the ’80s classic movie “Urban Cowboy,” and one of the Top 100 country songs of all time. A country mainstay, Lee had countless country hits on the Billboard charts: “One in a Million” (1980); “Bet Your Heart on Me” (1981); “The Yellow Rose” (1984, a duet with Lane Brody and the theme song to the NBC TV series of the same name); and “You Could Have Heard a Heartbreak” (1984).

Activities, such as carnival games, face painting and food trucks with concessions available for purchase, begin at 5 p.m. and go until 8 p.m. The musical acts perform from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Bring a blanket, chairs and the whole family. Everyone is welcome!
